| PRELIMINARY ROUNDS RULES AND REGULATIONS |
- DJ for the preliminary and final rounds is DJ Bernie Del Llano of Perfect Entertainment. DJ Bernie has been the Encore Superstar DJ since its first year in 2007. DJ Bernie has thousands of songs available for our talented singers and performers to choose from.
- Preliminary judges are:
- Tom "Shades" Masson - Tom is the lead singer of Horizon, a New Hampshire band who covers everything from 3 Doors Down to Eric Clapton. More information about Horizon can be found at myspace.com/horizonrocks or you can contact Tom at horizonrocks@live.com
- Jill Arnold - Jill is a local karaoke enthusiast and was the recent winner of Fody's Karaoke Contest. She enjoys singing, writing lyrics and poetry and breathes all types of music.
- Jon Bell - Jon is a music studio partner at The Space in Lowell, MA. Jon is also the lead guitarist and vocals for the band Distant Relatives.
- Registration for preliminary rounds begins at 7pm at each venue, competition starts promptly at 8pm.
- Only a limited number of participants allowed to participate, be sure to get there early to sign up. First come, first serve sign up system. Roughly 30-40 singers will fit into the nightly time slot.
- There is no cover charge at the venues but there will be a $5 registration fee for competitors.
- All preliminary rounds and final event are 21+. Please bring valid id to participate or watch.
- Four finalists will be chosen from each preliminary round. Sixteen finalists will make it to the final competition on March 26, 2010.
- Professional singers and DJs as well as Telegraph or Perfect Entertainment employees and family members are not eligible for competition.
- Participants may compete at more than one venue.

Tickets for the final show, held on Friday, March 26, are $5 and will ONLY be sold at the door. Ticket sales for the evening will begin at 6pm. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Peacock Players.
Emcee for the evening is WZID's Mike Morin
Final competition judges are:
- Kriss Soterion of Kriss Cosmetics. This will be Kriss's third year as a Superstar judge.
- Scott Kilgore of Project G. This will be Scott's third year as a Superstar judge.
- Bobby Baker, aka Bobby B. Bobby was the 2009 Encore Superstar winner and will be a judge as well perform at the finals.
- Keith Weirich of the Peacock Players. For more than 30 years, Keith has been performing in over 35 professional and regional theaters in the United States and Europe. Keith has a B.F.A. in Theater and Music from Otterbein College in Columbus, Ohio. This is Keith's first year as a Superstar judge.
