CONCORD – The New Hampshire Film and Television Office is now accepting submissions for the 2010 New Hampshire High School Short Film Festival.
The festival is open to students currently enrolled in grades 9-12 at New Hampshire public or private high schools. Submissions do not have to have been created as part of a school project.
A panel of judges made up of New Hampshire film industry professionals will review all submissions and select films to be shown at the festival itself, which takes place at New Hampshire Technical Institute’s Sweeney Hall Auditorium in Concord on May 15.
Films that win the Jury Award, which is selected by the judging panel, and the Audience Award, which is selected by those attending the festival, will be screened at Red River Theatres in summer 2010 and on New Hampshire Day at the New Hampshire Film Festival in October.
All submissions must be postmarked on or before March 31 or arrive at the State Library in Concord by 4 p.m. on that date. Rules and guidelines, film submission forms and other festival information about the festival can be at www.nhstudentfilm.com.
